Obituary of Betty (Elizabeth) Ives (nee Siel)

Passed away peacefully with family at her side November 19. Beloved wife of Bob Ives.  Much loved mother of Krystal Ives, Janet Robinson (Craig), Carolyn Ives (Jim), and Bob Ives Jr. (Mona Levesque). Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Kristopher, Tracy, Thomas, Derrick, Giovanni (Andrea), Stacey, Lorianne, Shelby and James-Lee. Proud great-grandmother of Harmony, Tre, Sierra, Eliana, and Vincent. Special great-aunt of Rick. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sisters Margaret Gadal (the late Joe), Mary Russell (Allen), Audrey Ives (the late David), Lila MacVicar (Ron), Eleanor Mills, her brothers-in law Bill Stein (the late Mildred), Charles Ives (Carol), and her "son" David Stephens.  Predeceased by sisters-in law Laura Ives, Donna Ives, and Betty Simpson (late Ross). She leaves good friends Jeannie, Doreen, Bert, Marlene and Mary.

Betty worked for "The Bell" (Bell Canada) and most recently, for many years at the University of Windsor.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will take place with a tree planting in the spring.

Donations to the ALS Society of Windsor, Hospice of Windsor or the Ambassador Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
