Obituary of Donna Woolven

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Woolven on April 18, 2020, in her 76th year, with her family beside her. Loving Mom to Lisa Rowley (Jeff Stiles) and A.J. Rowley, devoted Gramma to Carson Rowley. Daughter of the Late Doris Edmunds (Bill Edmunds) and The Late Robert Chute, Sister to the Late Robert (Bobby) Chute and The Late William (Billy) Chute. Donna took pride and care in everything she did, from tending to her abundant flower and vegetable gardens, champion level baking, sewing, painting, and refinishing furniture. Strongly independent, Donna put herself through nursing school and spent her adult life caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was an animal lover, an avid reader, lover of the theatre and figure skating as well as a devoted lacrosse Mom. The family would like to express their deepest love and appreciation for the care, comfort and support of the staff at The Villages of Aspen Lake, particularly the Tecumseh and Lasalle teams who took such wonderful care of our Mom in her final years. Cremation has been entrusted to the Cremation Society of Windsor Essex and Memorial Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
