Obituary of Lena Jean Moore (Bowman, nee Maryanovich)

Passed away peacefully on February 3, 2021 at the age of 86. Reunited with her late husband, the love of her life, William “Bill” Bowman (1954-1980), and her late husband Harry Moore (1987-2008). Beloved Mother of: Linda Poupard (Brian), Cheryl Sokolowski (Jim), Robert Bowman (Michelle), Bill Bowman (Ilsé), Gordon Bowman (Diane), Michelle O’Neil (Jeff), and Ann-Marie Mulhall (John). Grandmother of 16 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Cherished sister of Elizabeth “Liz” Durocher (late Ernie), Adam Maryanovich (Marilyn), and the late Lucy Loma (Ken). Dear Aunt of 10 nieces and nephews. Lena was always fashionable and ready to celebrate any occasion. She enjoyed nights out to dinner, dancing, travel, and game nights with her children and grandchildren. She loved to be the ‘Queen’ of her family. She was so proud of all her children and grandchildren, and shared that with everyone. We will miss her love, energy, laughter, sense of humour, and style. Heartfelt thanks to the caring, and compassionate staff at both the W.R.H. Met and Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare where Mom spent her final days in palliative care.
