Obituary of Helen Irene Lajoie (nee Clinansmith)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Helen on October 15, 2022 at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Raymond (2021) of 62 years. Cherished mother of Jayme (Michelle), and Rae Power. Adored gram of Josh, Mathew, Grace, Elizabeth & Robert, and her favourite canine companion Lola. Survived by her sister Janet Perry and predeceased by 8 siblings. Sister-in-law of Darlene Jefferies. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Helen was a former employee of General Motor and the LCBO. She enjoyed her retirement travelling to football games, watching her grandsons play. Helen truly enjoyed a good day of shopping. If you so desire, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor/Essex would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service and celebration of life will take place at a later date.
