Obituary of Mary Jane Goslin (nee Amlin)

April 19, 1944 – December 27, 2023 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her daughter and son, at Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington after a very courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Barry (2020) and parents Eugene and Rosemary Amlin of Amherstburg, ON. Cherished mother of Kim (Tony) Iaquinta and Chris (Jaime) Kirchner. Loving Gran to Chloe, Sadie (Trevor), Aidan and Evan. Great Gran to Kaden. Stepmother of Stephanie (Todd) Bondy. Loving sister of the late Bernard (Lenore), Ron (Mary Kay), Bill (Diane) and Karen (Kevin) Strang. Mary Jane loved golf and was a member of two women’s golf leagues. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, sitting on her deck watching the birds, and trips to Florida. She will be fondly remembered for her witty comments, outgoing personality and her love for her family and friends. Everyone who knew MJ had a special place in their heart for her! Sincere thanks to the staff at Home and Community Care Support Services, Windsor Regional Cancer Centre and Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington for their compassion, kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. A Mass will be held for Mary Jane at St. Clement Catholic Church (9567 Walker Rd.) on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Following the mass there will be an open house at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 594 (5030 Howard Ave, Oldcastle) from 12 - 4 pm where all are welcome to pay their respects to the family and celebrate MJ’s life. Memorial donations made to Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington or Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
