Obituary of Grant Gordon Brown

Surrounded by his family and good friends, it’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Grant Gordon “Buck” Brown on July 13, 2024. Dedicated partner of Susan Baldwin (Newman) for over 34 years and father of Krysta Brown (Rob Karasarkissian), Lisa Brown, Michael Brown (Nancy Brown), and Ryan Hart (Jaclynn Hart). Predeceased by parents Cecil and Alma Brown. Survived by sister Neica Krymuza. Papa to grandchildren Aubrey & Deegan, Logan, and Wyatt. Dad to fur baby Peetu. Buck (Dad) was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and a special sparkle in his eyes. His laugh and charm could capture a room, and his experiences, stories, and jokes could make you laugh from your belly. A Canadian veteran, Buck also spent 45 years in an 18-wheeler and was a true example of hard work and dedication on the open road. He instilled in us kids the belief that you have to put in the work to get what you want. His work ethic was unmatched and truly shaped ours. "Work hard and play hard; life’s too short, and if it's a deal, buy three." Buck possessed and always showed an undeniable, unwavering love for his children and grandchildren. The words “Remember Papa loves you!” have been impressed on our hearts and will be cherished forever. He loved spending time with his kids, from fishing on Lake Erie for smallmouth bass to exploring the French River, attending Monster Truck shows, and watching demolition derbies. Our time together will be memories that last a lifetime. It's hard to say goodbye, but we take comfort in knowing you're headed to one big party in the sky. "...till we meet again." Cremation has taken place as per Buck’s wishes and celebration of life to follow at a later date. Special thanks to PSW Michelle for her amazing care for Dad the past two years. We cannot thank you enough.
