Obituary of John Malcolm Thomas Buttery

Born February 6, 1945 in Brighton, England. Passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2024 at the age of 79. John is survived by his loving wife Bernadette (nee Ducharme) of 47 years, his children Susan & Brad Blackton, Steven Buttery, Sharon & Larry Gerald, Tricia & Tyce Kungel, John & Beth Buttery. John was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 sisters, Sharon Forbes and her family, and Anne Sharon and her family. He will also be sadly missed by the Ducharme family. As well as his extended family, many friends and neighbours, especially those he spent countless days socializing with at the Chandler Road Tim Hortons. John lived a full life and enjoyed riding his many motorcycles and driving his corvettes. He also travelled with the “Hell Drivers” in his younger days doing stunt crashes. As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.
